3D Motion Design - Blender, After Effects, TouchDesigner
I’ve been obsessed with 3D vfx and rendering since age 14, messing around in the education version of 3DS Max. Now I’m mainly Blender and After effects, but learning more Cinema 4D and Houdini. The importance of motion graphics cannot be overstated in today’s video-centric world.
I also love making Touchdesigner presets since it’s excellent for making motion graphics quickly from static artwork.
With the fast-paced nature of clubs and music - quick turnaround is extremely important to me, so GPU rendering is a number one priority for me.
All Night Passion promotional video + photographs
Short-form promo video (on the right) shot on a Sony A6400 with low light f1.4 lens, stabilised with a Crane M2 Gimbal. Nightclub photography and videography provides numerous challenges - a very busy and tight environment, dark but with intense spotlights, and subjects that are constantly moving.
Really happy with the way this turned out - simple, yet eyecatching and fun with one-day turnaround. There’s always something else for your eye to look at even on repeat watches.
Meld Records
I run an independent record label, focused on underground dance and experimental music. The label has received consistent support from key publications such as DJ Mag, Beatport, Ransom Note, and Definite Party Material. Support from countless DJs such as VTSS, Ben UFO, Anz. Featuring artists such as Lithe, KAVARI, Jennifer Walton, Bolam, Pluralist, Mercy System.
Meld clubnights + other events
Meld was a passion project I started in 2017 originally running events - which developed into a record label. I’ve brought up on-the-rise artists to events and sold thousands of tickets. Developed skills in budget and investment management, social media, paid advertising, managing physical advertising, and running venues and events.
